Summary

Dux Digital has won the Shoestring category in the 2020 Australian Web Awards for our work on the St Francis Vet Hospital website.

The results are in for the 2020 Australian Web Awards, and we are pleased to announce our success. Dux Digital has been awarded the honour of best website in the “Shoestring” category for the St Francis Vet Hospital website.

For outstanding websites under $10,000, winning the Shoestring award has validated what we do on a day to day basis. As a boutique agency that prides ourselves on customised, sophisticated, tech savvy designs, we are proud that our commitment to excellence has been recognised within the industry.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, the Australian Web Awards had a different format this year.

About the project

While we offer all of our customers an individualised service and the same high standards, it was our work for the St Francis Vet Hospital that saw us take out this coveted award. The website was a collaborative project, and we would like to give a special shout out to Dux team members Mark, Rob and Andrew for their hard work.

The website features innovative tech, smooth navigation, and an interface that gives the client the flexibility to update their content as required. We considered all elements of the design including colours and typography, user behaviour, page speed, and content. The client wanted a redesign that would reinvigorate their web presence and reflect the professionalism and care they offer in their animal hospital.

This is a perfect example of how a custom website can stand out in the crowd and be so much more than a standard template. Regardless of budget, we can create a unique website that is responsive to mobile, meets user expectations, and showcases the information that is relevant to the brand.

We have our clients and team to thank for this success and we look forward to participating in these awards in the future. As this is a fiercely competitive industry, we would also like to congratulate all of the other nominees and winners. You can view the full list of the 2020 Australian Web Award finalists here.
